Hyundai Genesis G90 Launches at NAIAS

GENESIS BRAND LAUNCHES ITS FIRST MODEL, G90Hyundai brought a luxurious addition to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) this year by unveiling its newest high-end luxury vehicle: the Genesis G90.

Based on specs and features, the Genesis G90 sits at the top of the Genesis lineup, loaded with innovative technology and a sophisticated exterior to hold its own against Japanese and German vehicles in the same class. This new competitor comes with “Genesis Smart Sense” as a standard feature, giving drivers access to all driving aids seen in rival vehicles.

Hyundai has focused its efforts on improving driver ergonomics in the Genesis G90. “VIP ergo passenger seats” allow passengers to adjust their seating conditions through electronic controls. The unique “Smart Posture Caring” system detects the driver’s height and automatically adjusts vehicle features for optimal use (such as mirrors and the steering wheel).

The Genesis G90 has undergone rigorous performance tests on the famous Nurburgring motorsports complex in Germany. The optional 5-litre V8 engine clocks a powerful 425 horsepower. If that’s too powerful, 3.8-litre V6 and 3.3-litre turbo V6 engines are available. The G90 delivers power through rear-wheel drive or Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel drive system.
